Profit Architecture for home-service & construction owners

Your business has a profit gap. We architect the fix.

Having leads does not mean every opportunity becomes profitable work. Profit can leak between the parts: the call nobody returned, the Project Proposal nobody followed up, the finished job nobody asked about. We find the gap, design the system that closes it, and run it with you every week.

A-201 Measure the gap

Put a number on your gap.

Use your own figures. One point of close rate, at your lead volume and job value, is worth more than most owners assume. The instrument does the arithmetic. The Find the Gap Call finds out why your rate is what it is.

Your numbers stay in your browser. These figures show revenue, before the costs of delivering the work. They do not show profit. This is arithmetic on your figures, not a projection of ours. We never promise a close rate; month one of the Partnership establishes the facts.

Instrument · Close-rate gapExample figures — replace with yours
Revenue per point of close rate$16,800a year, at your volume and job value.
Annual revenue difference$84,000a year between 30% and 35% at your volume and job value.

G.A.P. The method

From what is true to what holds.

Every engagement follows the same three moves, in the same order. Diagnosis before prescription, every time.

01 · Survey

Get the Facts

We inspect the business as it operates now: what you own, where decisions stall, what is measured and what is left to chance.

  • Your profile and market position
  • Your lead path, call to Project Proposal
  • What happens after the job

02 · Design

Architect the System

We turn the facts into an operating design: standards, ownership, sequence, and the measures that keep it honest.

  • One priority, with an owner
  • A written standard for each step
  • A number that proves it moved

03 · Build

Put It Into Operation

We work the system alongside you, week after week, until it is part of how the business runs, not a document on a shelf.

  • A live working session every week
  • A written record of what changed
  • Nothing left in our heads

S-301 The engagement

Our judgment, inside your week.

The Weekly Systems Partnership puts the Profit Architect’s judgment on your business every week, starting with the focus area that carries the greatest financial consequence. Intake sets the scope. Month one is always the diagnosis.

Q-01 – Q-07 The honest answers

What owners ask before they book.

  1. Q-01 · The franchisor

“Isn’t this what my franchisor already does?”

Your franchisor builds the brand. You still operate the business. A system can exist at the brand level and still fail at the territory level. Whether that is happening in yours cannot be known without the facts. That is what the Diagnostic Inspection establishes.

  2. Q-02 · The commitment

    “What if it doesn’t work?”

Month one is the Diagnostic Inspection — you get the facts, the real constraint, and the first operating priority whether or not you continue. After that, it’s month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. You’re never locked into a system that isn’t earning its keep.

  3. Q-03 · The difference

“How is this different from hiring a marketing company?”

A marketing company sells you tactics — ads, posts, a new website. We diagnose the business first and build the system the facts point to, which is sometimes a website, sometimes not. Judgment before tools, every time.

  4. Q-04 · The timeline

“How fast will I see something change?”

The first written operating priority comes out of month one. This is a system you run every week, not a campaign that ends.

  5. Q-05 · The first month

“What is the Diagnostic Inspection, and what does it cost?”

It is month one of the Weekly Systems Partnership, not a separate purchase. We establish the facts, name the real constraint and set the first operating priority. It is part of the monthly engagement, and the Project Proposal sets the fee.

  6. Q-06 · The terms

    “Why month to month?”

Because the work should earn the next month. Thirty days’ notice, no minimum term, no setup fee. Anything outside the agreed scope is raised as a written Change Order before the work starts.

  7. Q-07 · The fit

    “Who do you work with?”

Owners of home-service and construction businesses with an active Google Business Profile: painting, roofing, restoration, HVAC, plumbing, concrete, fencing and more, franchise or independent.

T-401 Who stands in the gap

Built by owners who still run the work.

Both founders own and operate home-service businesses of their own. Every system we install for a client, we have had to make work in a real business first, with real crews, real calls and real seasons.
